The Cultural and Creative Cities Monitor
Client: Joint Research Centre
In this video we animated the infographics of The Cultural and Creative Cities Monitor (C3 Monitor) an instrument that supports the European Commission’s efforts to put culture at the heart of its policy agenda.
The project was commissioned by the Joint Research Centre, the European Commission’s science hub, which aims at providing independent, evidence-based knowledge and supporting EU policies to positively impact society.
This first edition of the Cultural and Creative Cities Monitor shows how well 168 selected cities in 30 European countries perform on a range of measures describing the ‘Cultural Vibrancy’, the ‘Creative Economy’ and the ‘Enabling Environment’ of a city, using both quantitative and qualitative data.
The activities we were in charge of for this video included: creation of graphics in line with the infographics already published, animations, script, dubbing, music and sound effects.
“It is always a pleasure to work with the Panebarco team. After working with them a first time, I re-contacted them for a new project because of their ability to combine technical skills and active listening. They know how to interact with the client in a logic of collaboration to better interpret the communication needs of each project.”

Creative Industries
Client: KEA European Affairs
This is the video we created using 3D animation technique for KEA, a Belgian consulting company engaged in the cultural and creative industries. The metaphor we used aims to express the chain reaction that KEA’s intervention can cause in the context in which it operates.
“It has been said that something as small as the flutter of a butterfly’s wing can ultimately cause a typhoon halfway around the world.”

DARE (in italian “to give”) is an ambitious project carried out by the Municipality of Ravenna along with 11 partners. We have the pleasure and honor of working on the animated videos created to narrate and disseminate the project.
For the video description, we rely on the perfect words used to describe it on Approdo Comune, the project’s portal:
“TO GIVE character, TO GIVE color, TO GIVE energy… all the good intentions of the DARE project encapsulated in two minutes of high-energy video, featuring characters as extravagant as they are fascinating!”

In 2019, we began an exciting collaboration with EUFIC – the European Food Information Council. The first video we created for them is the presentation of Ypack, a project funded by the EU aimed at enhancing and validating two innovative food packaging solutions. As Panebarco, we oversaw and coordinated the entire creative process of the video: graphic style, character design, animations, scriptwriting, dubbing, music, and sound effects.
“We needed a colorful and captivating video to present our innovative project. I appreciated the professionalism and quality of the work offered by Marianna and her team. Our collaboration with them went well, and our project partners really appreciated the final result!”
